The Inbody Scanner, located in the Healthy Weight Center in Traverse City, Michigan is a tool available to help people see their overall body composition.
A couple of these important numbers found in the scanner test included:
Body fat mass and percentage, visceral fat level, skeletal muscle mass, total body water, body mass index, lean mass distribution, and basal metabolic rate.
Weight management coordinator and exercise specialist, Ben Watson creates exercise programs for clients who he does personal training with and helps to create from-home routines for his clients.
He also works along side a dietitian, to sell supplements for clients who do the total-meal replacement, partial-meal replacements or educating a grocery plan.
The purpose for the Inbody scanner is to allow for quick and easy access to help guide your weight loss and/or fitness goals.
Return 3-6 months later to see how much you have improved and to establish a new set of goals.
How it went: I was lucky enough to be able to get access to the Munson Hospital, before the whole Corona Virus broke out. The hardest part was not being able to get any patients in the video clips. Ben was a natural when it came to getting the interview with plenty of details on the body scale program and how things worked in the Weight Center.
