Sammi had to undergo surgery recently on her foot, but still gives her 100% in practices to ensure the possibily of her being placed to play during games.
My experience: My subject has been quite helpful throughout my visits to take photographs of her. The coaches allowed me to attend their weight training practice and other future practices. The difficult obstacle I was faced with was trying to follow Sammi as she ran back and forth for their fast-paced circuit of different exercises. After a while I was able to get the hang of it and know what I must do to overcome it. My goal was trying to create different framing situations with the equipment in the gym space, without getting in the other teammates way. I was happy with the fact I was able to get the coach in my photo above.

I have my associates in Liberal Arts and Science from Northwestern Michigan College and received my bachelors in Photojournalism at Central Michigan College.
As you may tell, photography is my lifelong passion. Ever since I was a child, there was a camera in my hand. My favorite moments to capture are lives breath taking moments from environmental shots to senior photos.
